“tactile sonic portrait Toronto”

2008  On invitation of Darren Copeland and Nadene Theriault Copeland the                    New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA), Canada

I  presented:  “super sonic sound scape shoes”  (link to interview) in the project:

                                          “tactile sonic portrait Toronto”

During a short residence I’ve recorded and composed special touch soundscapes of sonic impressions and sound walks in downtown Toronto with spontaneous interviews with people about the meaning of sound in the specific location of meeting. Standing in the “super sonic sound scape shoes” gave (university) public and inhabitants of Toronto the change to become more aware of the multi sensory aspects of their own sound habitat and the way they are acting in it like listeners and performers them self.

Presented in the Ryerson University as part of the of the Deep Wireless Radio conference and in the Music Gallery as part of the SoundAxis festival; gathering written reactions as part of my ongoing artistic research:                                                                                           “the multi sensorial hearing perspective” (read more)
